Waking up on a winter morning...

I thought it would be fun to try painting the rows of coloured stitches from one of my knitting samples. I am pleased with the end result, though I am not sure I would hurry to paint another one soon, it took me forever to complete and watercolour may not be the best medium to paint this kind of intricate pattern.
