Onto the fields-the candy wrap series

Mysterious, this image to me is like a shawl: snow and pink dusk come towards me ready to envelop me, perfect stillness that gives me time to get lost in my own thoughts, happy and at random this afternoon.

In the garden-the candy wrap series

Spooky at 4 pm in the countryside

Beautifully spooky!

The frozen leaves I

Blurred pine needles I

It was not because of a very strong wind, it was me moving my camera from side to side and having fun!

Window seat VI-the train series

speeding through the Derbyshire countryside on a crosscountry train just before Christmas, I really thought I was in wonderland!

Same view, different weather...

...still beautiful, moody and a bit spooky

There is bread under the snow

as the saying goes in Italy, perhaps elsewhere too.

It is cold outside...

What Mom crochet over the xmas period

...among other beautiful, warm and colourful items, Mom created a pair of fingerless gloves for our friend Pat, who often works outdoors on her farm in Derbyshire. Mom is modelling her creation in this shot.
