The green fingerless glove-crochet
Mumsy crochet this great fingerless glove, (when I took the photo she was about to finish crocheting the other glove). With crochet and knitting the possibilities to come up with beautiful and imaginative creations are endless, so many ideas, so little time...

The fingerless glove-crochet
Here is one of the two fingerless gloves I recently crochet, very cosy, warm and practical. I always wear them when I blog away or I am busy crafting!

I have been experimenting...
I think I will stitch it on a knitted hat, I have never done anything like this before, quite 3D and fun; it appears huge on the photo, but the diameter measures about 8 cm. I think I might crochet other similar shapes and stitch them together, possibilities are endless!

What Mom crochet over the xmas period

...among other beautiful, warm and colourful items, Mom created a pair of fingerless gloves for our friend Pat, who often works outdoors on her farm in Derbyshire. Mom is modelling her creation in this shot.

An alternative to wrapping paper

While I was preparing Mum's birthday presents, I decided to crochet this cute little brown bag. I was not too keen on buying wrapping paper to wrap the presents, so I got myself some yarn, some gorgeous silk magenta ribbon and a glitzy pink heart that I stitched onto the bag. Mum loves the bag and now she can use it to carry her small sewing items.

Oh my darling Clementine!

Sometimes I like to leave my crafts projects unfinished, weird, I know, but I like the hand stitches and details that indicate the item is not finished yet. Mom decided that that Clementine the red turtle needed a hat for the winter months; she looks happy and warm now.

I have not only been taking photographs lately,...
With a lot of help from Mom I have knitted this acid green jumper and I am so thrilled with the result that I have started knitting a second jumper. I actually bought the yarn months ago and I so wanted to have a new knitting project.I hope to finally master the technique of casting off stitches and knitting sleeves!
